Shouldn't we start of with Battlegear and Mugics too and be able to scan them as well?

If you read the Rules, SamShady says that we don't need to Scan BattleGear since you can pull them out of a hat Wink . I would think the same applies for Mugic too.

Edit: "Battlegear: Any you choose.
Mugic:
Anything Common or Uncommon The rest you must scan"
